This happens to fit perfectly in a useless nook in our house, and I will keep it because it makes the nook less useless. However, it is very wobbly despite being screwed in to the wall and floor. I do think if can hold heavy things but if you grab a shelf and give a little tug, it wobbles around. It also looks lopsided if you see it up close from the side – Im not convinced many people would notice this but I sure do.When we received it, some of the packaging had come loose and the finish was marred on several of the pipe pieces. It wasnt bad and we were able to hide it but I think it could have been packaged better.Assembly was pretty bad actually – my husband is one of those people who can decipher instructions and figure out spatial stuff easily, but this was stumping him. He noted that it seems everything is measured to a metric system which is ok, except it’s being sold in America and we’re just special. There’s also no template for where to put holes so securing it was a two person job. and took a lot of back and forth, plus math. All those 16ths of an inch were really getting husband, and I dont think this would be easy for somebody who isn’t used to building things.Beyond that, it does look good, basically as pictured. It holds my kids toys on the bottom and my plants on top which is most of what i wanted it to do. Im just not convinced its worth the price.

These shelves look AMAZING! We have lived in our home for over 20 years and always planned to have custom built-in shelves made for two nook spaces in our living room – we never did. The space measures 34″ so we purchased the 36″ set and cut them down to size. We drilled a new hole on the cut end for the pipes to connect and they look like they were custom made for our home. SO easy to put together and install. We highly recommend this product!

Assembly and installation was so simple, and it changes the entire appearance of any space for the better. Once secured to the wall, it proved to be more secure than I expected, it is rock solid; and holds a truly impressive amount of weight. For the listed price, this shelf is amazing; every included component and part is so well made. Overall, this far exceeded my expectations in every way, it’s truly an incredible product.

Overall it was easy to put together and a great space saver. Wood shelves are nice and thick too. Just wish they were as light as they appeared in the photos on line or that they offered a more natural wood option
