I’ve updated this review from 4 to 5 stars..customer service was EXCELLENT !Updated review:they took care of the damaged arm in under 2 days, and have a replacement arm on it’s way tome. I can’t say enough how happy that makes me.I have to give the chairs 5 stars, and would give customer service 10 stars if I could.I can say I’d highly recommend this seller and this chair.—————————————————————————————————Original review:I bought 2 of these, they are really nice chairs..they look nice and are very comfy, very nice for the price. easy to assemble but I’d recommend2 people to help hold the pieces as you put them together.however I found the arm of one chair had been damaged in shipping.naturally I had one chair put together and the one with damage about 80% done before noticing..so I’ve contacted the company to see if they can send me another “arm” for the chair.I’d have to say it doesn’t’ appear to be a manufacturing problem, and sending it back after we put it togetherand threw the boxes away, is likely out of the question. We figure we were out of luck , but thought I’d reach outto the manufacture anyway. I’m hoping for a good result.I can tape it, but it’s always disappointing to get something new and it’s damaged.new rule at our house.. INSPECT.. INSPECT.. before you get rid of the boxes and assemble any itemsin the future.so overall, since the damage looks like a shipping problem I’d still recommend this chair, our other one arrived perfectly.the 4 stars is only for the shipping damage. otherwise it would be 5 stars.I may update to 5 stars if the manufacture can send me a replacement arm piece (customer service did in factsend me a replacement) now 5 stars all around !

I’ve been using this chair for about 8 months now and it is just about worn out. I sit in it 8+ hours a day 6 days a week. I’m 180 lbs. The arm rest pads are pushed out to the sides where I put my arms, the back and but pads are about to the point where I’m going to have to do something. You’ll want floor protection as it scratched up my floor quite a bit with the cheap wheels. Overall, it’s a decent chair for just over $100. The material has surprisingly held up good. Next time though I’m going to spend the extra money because buying a new chair every year doesn’t make sense for me, some it might. It was easy to put together and overall is comfortable enough for what it is.

Love it! Assembly well.. I’m almost 69, had problems but grandson didn’t look at directions. Had it apart and back together in 15 minutes RIGHT!! I’m 5’3″ have to lower for feet to touch the floor, no problem. Lumbar support good. I feel it was a very good buy for the money expecially.

I’m afraid this is going to be another one of those companies that won’t fix a problem until a bad review is posted. The good: assembly was pretty easy, chair worked great for first month, and felt great. Felt very solid, very comfortable, was super happy with my purchase. The bad: Within a month of using this chair, it broke. I sat down and with a loud pop, a small rounded metal piece appeared beneath my chair. Now the whole chair feels unstable, leans hard to the left, creaks and groans with any movement, and is definitely not safe to lean back in.To be clear, I’m way under the stated 300lb limit, and I’m very gentle with my furniture – I sit down, I don’t drop or flop into it, and I’ve barely used the lean back feature – I just sit down and stand up. Nothing dramatic.I went to the Furmax web site and e-mailed their support e-mail, which came back as undeliverable. Uh oh. I then e-mailed their second listed e-mail, which has gotten no response after a week.I’ll be returning this broken chair to Amazon, and of course, never buying another Furmax product again. It was a great chair…for a month. And I’m not going to buy a new chair every month (especially when my basic, cheap Amazon-brand task chair has lasted years with no problems).

I got this chair July 13 2020. It is now July 7, 2021.Good:it’s a chairit’s comfy enough for gaming and workingI can sit cross legged in it, which is what I like to doit swivelsif I lean back in it, it is very comfortable.when sitting in it, it does have some lumbar support even when sitting in an upright position with the back of the chair not touching my upper spine.Bad:even in locked position it rocks back and forth a bit, which is annoying. It has gotten worse over time. After a year I went to change the height, and I had to physically lift up the chair to make it taller. This is likely due to wear, I had left it in the lowest configuration most of the past year. It seems to be staying in the taller configuration, but I don’t like that I had to lift it.if I sit upright in it, there is no contact between the back of the chair and anything above my hips. It has always been this way since I first got it, and is not due to wear.after a year, the armrests are now very squished and worn out. I am considering my options for making them more comfortable again.since day one, the screw covers have just been popping out all the time. I’ve given up putting them back in.it has a distinct smell. cleaning it may help some, but I haven’t been dumping any food on it. It seems to pick up human smells and hold onto them, but not soapy good smells. BO smells. Farts. The chair smells a bit, is what I’m getting at.Overall:3.5/5 stars, would seek better option, but this wasn’t bad for the price. It works for now and I don’t have money for something better. I really do like that I can comfortably sit cross legged in it, and it has served me well enough. I weigh about 200 lbs and it hasn’t had a catastrophic failure yet. While I like the shape of the chair, it lacks good options for backrest angle, and has limited height options. If I could get the same chair but taller with an adjustable back angle, I think I’d be pretty happy. As long as you make sure to set your tension settings correct, and have it set to the proper height for your desk, it may be very comfortable for you. It’s certainly better than a folding chair.
