We got this for kid sleep overs or to use under a sleeping bag. It has no odors, is soft and comfortable. I’m even able to get it back in the small box it came in if you roll it up like a sleeping bag. Not using it as intended I know, but it works really well for what we need.

I did not order this pad for its intended purpose but rather for a road trip I had coming up. I was to be driving for nearly 3000 miles and planned to sleep in my small car and wanted something more comfortable than a camping pad.The pad comes compressed and needs a little bit of time to settle and decompress; there was a prominent ridge in the middle after opening the pad up but this went away after a 1/2 hour. I did notice a moderate chemical smell upon unboxing so I also placed the pad outdoors hoping the sun and air would minimize the smell, which it has appeared to do.The pad fit perfectly in my car and was quite comfortable, far more than my camping pads. Since returning home, I have comfortably used it several times on my living room floor for an afternoon nap.I find the advertised price reasonable as it was the same price I paid early in the summer for similar sized foam sheets I ordered to make some cushions; those sheets were not memory foam and did not come in a removable/washable bamboo cover. The zippered cover itself is simple and clean and has a 1.5″ wide elastic strap on the bottom at the both the head and the foot to help keep it in place when used on a massage table.
