So easy to assemble.
Have to say this was the easiest bed I ever put together. And you don’t have to worry about losing bolts, there aren’t any. No tools needed although they do include a pretty substantial rubber mallet to aid in the construction. Very sturdy, everything goes together pretty tight. The extra tough of the double sided tape (on two of the slats) so there is less chance your mattress will move. Overall a really decent overall value.

Satisfied!
I was so impressed with the height and amount of storage space I was able to access. Very sturdy and easy to assemble. An attractive yet simple piece that functions great as extra closet space 😉

Super easy to assemble
This is a great bed frame, be aware it is tall. I have a trundle under it with plenty of room to spare. There is no shakes and with no skid tape on the slats, the mattress has not shifted at all.
Amazon Customer –
Great frame!
All is as claimed. Does NOT fully support/stabilize a headboard though. At least not the one I purchased. Which is the reason I gave it only 4 *’s for ‘sturdiness’.Otherwise, excellent!

Poorly made and unsturdy
While the frame was easy enough to assemble, in less than 2 years I’ve had the weld in the centerpiece completely break (see photo) and as a result the entire frame is compromised. It’s rickety, it shifts often even though we have carpet underneath it and I’ve been waiting 6 weeks for a replacement piece with no luck. Due to the extra stress on the rest of the frame the front 2 legs are now sticking out and I’m waiting for the whole thing to collapse.I cannot in good faith recommend this bed frame as it genuinely feels unsafe and the craftsmanship is extraordinarily shoddy for the price.

Definitely easy to assemble
I put it together in about 10 minutes by myself. All the parts are marked and it slides together easily with no fasteners required

Storage galore
I love this bed frame! It allows for lots of storage underneath with 15 1/2″ of clearance from the floor.. I bought two, a full and a queen and wanted another full and queen but they’re currently unavailable so I bought another brand with only 12 1/2″ of clearance and metal slats. Nope nope nope! This one is so much better! The wooden slats are much more comfortable and wider than the metal slats. This frame is sturdier and has cutouts to attach a headboard if wanted. The height gives the bed a hotel feel and a box spring isn’t needed.

Hopefully I was just unluckyâ¦
PROS:- SUPER easy to assemble- Very high so you have a lot of space under the bedCONS:- Squeak. Had to use WD-40 twice to make it stop.- Feels sturdy, but my single 300 pounds body was too much I guess. After the 2nd night, a weird squeaking appeared. I realized that the middle support was bent and simply broke. (See pictures)Been a bit of a struggle, but Amazon helped me fixed my issue

It was just what I expected it to be and more. So here’s the low-down. This bed provides copious storage space underneath. So much so that I actually built a wall of boxes underneath and made a little doorway so that if an attacker ever tries to come into my house I will have a nice little cave to hide under XD Furthermore, this baby is totally solid. It was also extremely easy to assemble. We didn’t even look at the directions until the end when we were installing the wood slats to make sure they were lined up properly. All the pieces are numbered and it even comes with a little rubber hammer to use to hammer all the slots in place. So the real test is will it hold? Is it firm? Does it squeak/creek? Well I plopped right down on it and not a single noise! That said I’m only 145 lbs. Maybe someone larger would break it. According to the listing this frame can withstand 2000lbs of weight. Seeing as my mattress is one of those fancy organic rubber foam mattresses taht is super heavy (like I can’t even move this thing on my own, it requires 2-3 people to lift it), I needed something really sturdy that can withstand the test of time. This thing is amazing. The wood slats take the weight of my mattress so well and my bed feels more solid and even than ever. I love it. It also has slots so you can attach it to any headboard that meets the same measurements of where the slots are located. Well my frame was about an inch to wide and an inch too high, so we rigged up some boards to hold firmly to the headboard. Worked like a charm. It did not come with any nuts or bolts. We needed to use our own. Also, the wood slats have felcro so you don’t even need to screw them into the frame. They were so easily adjustable. One last thing that was provided was an adhesive tape on the wood slats so that if you have one of those really light foam mattresses it won’t slide around. Well my mattress is so heavy that it wasn’t necessary to adhere it to the wood slats, but I thought that might be useful for anyone who wasn’t sure whether or not to get this rimless frame (the frame is totally flush with the wood slats). So, what do you do to make a pretty plain looking frame like this look nice attached to a fancy headboard? Well, I just put a fancy velvet bedskirt on it before putting the mattress down and Voila! Now no one can see under the bed. No one would know that this is a combination bedfram-box spring just by looking at it 🙂

*** 5.5 YEARS LATER ****** SUMMARY ***I still very much love this frame. Initially, we had it on a corner of our bedroom up against a wall. The leg that it would pivot on right on that corner has now started squeaking after we have moved the bed to the center of the room. My thought is that perhaps that position may have affected the integrity of the bed.(Btw, climbing into my side of the bed against the wall ended up hurting my back after 5 years, which is the main reason why I wanted to move the bed. Its fairly tall and I’m only 5 ft, so something to consider if you’re wanting to do the same.)*** TROUBLESHOOTING ***So, after about 3 months of having moved the bed it has started squeaking a lot. So much so that my husband woke me up with his shuffling at night. So I inspected the frame, realized it was only that corner squeaking, cleaned it up with a wet wipe, noticed some chipping, added some WD-40, and assembled it back. It sounds much better, but not perfect.*** WARNING ***When I did one final spray with it assembled, I noticed that the WD-40 went through the welding. I also noticed bubbles on the leg. (See image for reference.) Not sure if it came like that, but could be a potential warning that the leg was weak to begin with.*** TIP ***I would advise you do a check of the welding with a squirt of water to make sure your welding is sturdy.*** CONCLUSION ***So, I don’t know how much longer the bed frame will last, but I’m glad it lasted us 5 years! I will probably consider purchasing again if we don’t find any other option because the storage under the bed is just a big win for me. (I actually initially thought all the storage under there might’ve been banging with the legs, but that wasn’t the case!)*** P.S. ***I initially spoke about the bed skirt that I had purchased being too short… I ended giving up my search and made my own bed skirt out of a drop cloth. It has worked great and definitely recommend!*** INITIAL REVIEW ***I got a full sized frame. This frame is doing great for us so far. Easy to install, comes with its own mallet. I was hesitant about getting a metal frame because I thought it would squeak, but it doesn’t squeak unless it’s really pressed up against the wall. My favorite thing about it is that it has so much storage space underneath. I bought a standard bed skirt to hide all the junk under there, but there’s still about 4 inches of visibility, which isn’t too bad. I haven’t looked into other bed skirts, so that might fix that problem.

This frame is solid and was assembled in less than 10 mins! We put our child’s older sagging mattress on this frame and it was like we bought a new firm mattress as well. Excellent construction

Just received it. Seems pretty great. I’ve seen all-lumber DIY plans that cost as much as this one while not allowing for cleaning/storage underneath – and you have to build them. Mine arrived in less than a week, which is 2 weeks faster than Amazon promised. Putting it together took less time than unboxing it. Truly no tools required. To get something I prefer, I’d probably have to shop around quite a bit and pay literally 20x as much.Update after 1 year… well, this bed didn’t turn out to be what is seemed to be at first. A few months in it was making squeaking and clicking noises, which got progressively worse and now happen with every slight movement of its occupants. The center support piece, which screwed into the bottom with a very small point of contact, somehow got itself to an angled position (due to the limited contact point) from whence it destroyed my wooden floor by smashing up and down on it anytime weight was placed on the bed. My floor, which was pristine, looks like it has dozens of drinking-glass rings on it all in a space about the size of my palm; except they have a very small circumference and are not surface marks, they are anywhere from a sixteenth to a quarter inch deep. I removed the center support right away when I noticed that. It’s under the bed for now, so it won’t be a big deal unless I move things around – but in that case it will be a big deal. Took the frame apart recently to see if grease would help with the clicking and squeaking and it turns out that the squeaking is actually creaking; that is to say, it seems the metal at one of the joints is creaking and possibly in danger of giving way, as opposed to just making a very annoying sound when rubbing against itself. The bed can easily be made to rack severely – without moving the feet on the floor, the top plane of the bed can move back and forth several inches. Also, two of the horizontal pieces of the frame are pretty bent up: one at the head that arrived that way and the other runs the length of the bed under the center, it’s all bent up where the center support that got angled has torqued it.If this bed were structurally sound and quiet I’d give it five stars. If it were structurally sound and made some annoying noises, I’d still give it a 4 – or 5 if I could make the noises stop. Unfortunately this is neither; like a few other reviewers, I can’t trust it, especially given that there is plenty of space under there for small children and pets to crawl around and potentially get crushed.Last note on this product relates to the 5-yr warranty. The document on amazon says that Zinus _loves_ to talk and you need to CALL them as that is the only way to deal with them. I called a few weeks back and only today finally freed myself up to call during their hours. Their rep, after listening to my long and much-more-detailed-than-above description of the problems, told me that their website is the only way to do anything relating to warranty or trouble-shooting. I had mentioned a few concerns that I would have even if they gave me a free replacement, and she wouldn’t comment on any of them. I’m not sure what will end up happening when I do write it up and upload my photos to Zinus.

Im updating this review i contacted the company and after a little back and forth they are sending me replacement for the damaged pieces so now this frame is definitely something i would get again. Plus i didn’t even know they had one version that’s 18 inches of the ground instead of 14 so it’s great to add extra storage underneath. Let me start by saying this is a very nice frame it has room for storage underneath and it’s high of the floor. The problem I had was 2 pieces came bent so it made putting it together harder than it had to be. Customer service was contacted I sent photos of damage and screenshots of the ravage by that want good enough they want a pdf of the receipt. So as long as it’s not damaged it’s easy to assemble and a nice frame for the price
