Great product , very happy !
I was worried to buy this kind of product on line because of size and weight , but it arrived on time and was very well packaged ! No dammage at all ! All parts were there , with instructions! Itâs not difficult to assemble , but it does take a little time , over 2 . 5 hours in my case ! Just make sure you pay full attention cause some parts could be mistaken for others ! Besides that it does the job perfectly ! Great product for the price and it looks great as well ! Very happy with this purchase !

Attractive & practical DVD/CD storage unit
It’s a lovely little cabinet. I was a bit daunted by all the hardware when I first opened the box, but it’s not difficult to assemble, just study the diagrams carefully and you’re good to go. The only issue I have is that there is quite an gap underneath the doors when they are closed (to ensure they open without damaging the floor stand, I’m sure) but I am placing the shelf unit near a window in a city high rise apt., so I anticipate that a lot of dust will get inside the cabinet during the warmer months and the whole point of a closed unit (for me) was to keep the content dust-free. On the whole, however, I’m very pleased with the item.

Iâd return this item if I could…
Got this in good time from Amazon.ca and paid $150 cnd for it. I was excited when I was notified that it arrived on Monday by UPS, but my excitement quickly turned to frustration when 1. I had to get it up the flight of stairs – it weighs 85 lbs – and 2. when I started assembling it. The instructions left me guessing a lot, as they arenât clear. The screws are soft so using an electric screwdriver was not possible though it was recommended. The hole for the catch on the inside of the cabinet was in the wrong place, so I had to redrill after it was assembled. To sum it up, itâs too heavy, too complicated to assemble for the use it will provide. Not a good buy at $150, itâs not worth more that $49.99 In my opinion.

Its too bad, because the unit itself is great
I ran into the same problem as another customer. Theres a latch lock for the left door. If you fill the top shelf, cant get to it. You kinda need it, because if the floor is slightly uneven, these doors open and close so well they both open. So the latch is needed and the lock is used just to keeo the door closed. I ended up using a large elastic band around the handles to keep closed. Its too bad, because the unit itself is great.

Great product
I brought this for my husbands cd collection. He is so impressed with the build of this product and how easy it was to put together. The package had to right side boards so he called the company and within a week we received a replacement board. Then, when he got it all together, there wasn’t enough shelving to hold all his cd’s so he called them again and again within 8 business days we received more shelving, and no charge. Can’t say enough good things about this company and it’s product. Will definitely order from them again and give them A+ for customer service!

I purchased this to store my 4k blu-ray’s 1080p blu-rays, and DVDs. I bought this expecting to need one upstairs and one downstairs, but only purchased one at first.Pros:-It looks nice.-It saves space compared to a bookshelf.-The manufacturer’s customer support responded within 16 hours and shipped a replacement piece for the damaged bottom piece that I pictured. I emailed late in the evening and they responded in the early afternoon the next day. I received the replacement part in 9 calendar days. This is a long time, but it shipped from BC, Canada to FL, USA.Cons:-It doesn’t store as many movies as it could. There are holes in each door so that you can adjust the shelves to the level that you want. However, there are some levels on the doors that you cannot place the shelves due to the cams used to hold the pieces together. Unfortunately, those locations would be ideal for blu-ray movies. I therefore cannot any movies on the bottom shelves of the door. If I was capable of moving one adjustable shelve up one notch, then the bottom shelves could be used. This means that there are two shelves that are unusable unless I lay movies on their side.-Each door has a locking mechanism that gets in the way of storage. The left door has a lever on the inside (when closed) that you must push up to lock and pull down to unlock. I had to leave a section on the shelf empty so that the door could close and to be able to reach this locking mechanism. The pre-drilled hole doesn’t line up well so it is more difficult to use this than it should be, so I am not going to use it. The right door has a lock that requires a key. The lock protrudes through the back of the cabinet where movies are stored, so I cannot store as many movies on that shelf.-It took a while to build. This normally wouldn’t be a big deal to me, but became one when I realized the previous issues.-All pieces were covered in debris. I caused quite a mess putting this together because of it. It would be nice if they used compressed air to clear the pieces of debris.-The replacement pieceI purchased only one to see how I would like it, then purchase a second if I did. Due to the cons, I am debating whether or not I should purchase a second one. The design flaw for the shelves is disappointing, and the locking mechanisms were not well thought out. I think I would prefer a latch on the outside if it blended with the design. It is not like the lock will prevent anyone from getting in anyway. Even a child could probably break into this if they really wanted to.I may look around elsewhere to see if I can find something better. If the flaws with the shelves and locks were not an issue, then I would have given this 5 stars.

I should start this review by saying that I was able to put this together and it looks “okay,” but as they say…you get what you pay for.First of all, despite being a PRIME member, it took Amazon two weeks to ship this to me…not because they were out of stock, but because I guess due to the weight of the package (over 50 lbs.), shipping takes longer? Who knows.Second, as others have pointed out, you’ll be lucky to get an undamaged set. About half of my pieces of wood were chipped or had some sort of white glue substance on them that would not come off. The box does come with a black marker to color over defects, but come on…this shouldn’t be happening.Third, the instructions are borderline useless. There are a couple of diagrams that are unclear or just flat-out wrong…you’ll have to use your brain to figure out how things are supposed to go. I’ll confess I put at least two things on wrong the first time and had to switch them around at the next step.Fourth, and this is for those hoping to store Blu-rays and 4Ks with this…you’ll only get THREE shelves (not four) when you complete the cabinet…with a little space at the bottom to slide cases in horizontally if you so wish, but if you’re a vertical storer like I am, you’ll get three rows across to use in both the cabinet and the pair of doors. Finally, the locking mechanisms on this cabinet are awful. First, the two screws that are packaged in with the lock are NOT the two screws that you want to use to put the lock on. Those screws are in another package. Why they did it this way…again, who can say?! Neither the lock nor the mechanism on the left door that “locks” that side have holes ready for the screws…you have to make those four holes yourself. The left side mechanism is just a piece of plastic that you slide in an upward position to meet a hole in the inside top of the cabinet…so be sure you place the mechanism in the right place on the left door, or it won’t line up with the hole inside!Yeah, for $160, you can’t expect much…but I expect more than this.

One of the screws for the door handle was defective on the head. Had to go to Loweâs and buy a pack of 12 just to replace the one screw. Other than that this product was as expected. I bought this to store my dvds. I had already seen that you only get 3 shelves for dvds. You canât fit 4 shelves so you will have a little extra space at the bottom if you go the dvd route. The quality was as expected. Partial board but still looks nice and feels sturdy. It comes out of the box a little saw dusty. Needs a wipe down. Instructions could be better but thatâs the way a lot of these furniture products are. Overall it does what I bought it for.

I bought 2 of these, and yeah – the title says it all. They arrived in some pretty flimsy packing boxes that did not protect against the inevitable dings and bumps that large heavy boxes like this have to go through. There were scratches on the sides where the box and packing had been ripped through. Thin cardboard and thin Styrofoam before you get to the cabinet veneer, so it was easily scratched. That said, the areas that got dinged were not in visible locations, so I just built the units and called it a day. Read the directions, go slow, and you’ll be fine…these were easy to assemble and the actual materials were well built. No complaints after assembly.

It works ok, but this is crazy expensive for being made of mds.
