A Work Form Home Essential Upgrade
Once it became apparent that the current work from home situation was not going away any time soon, I began looking to improve the ergonomics of my home office. My career has me in front of my computer many hours a day, six days a week. I spoke to a friend who has been working long hours in front of a computer for many years and asked him for suggestions. One of which was upgrading my desk to something larger, with a sit/stand option. His recommendation was a Canadian company called Anthrodesk. I did some research and mentioned to him that I felt I had found some similar options for a better price. However, upon closer inspection I found that I was looking at single motor units or companies with lack lustre customer service or inferior warranties. At the end of the day I was looking to make a long-term purchase. A desk I would have for 15 or 20 years. Did I really want to have to pursue some warranty issue with some company overseas? No. Further, given the current economic climate it is better to spend your money locally.I pulled the trigger on the dual motor model and I am very happy I did. The frame performs perfectly, despite the weight of my set-up and is very quiet. Setting this up was a breeze and I was able to do it solo until it came to perfectly lining up the desk top. However, once it was measured and symmetrical, mounting the table top to the frame was easy. As you would expect of a dual-motor, steel framed desk, it is quite heavy and awkward to set right side up. You will almost certainly want some assistance. I ordered an acacia live edge solid wood counter top for my desk top – measuring 72 inches by 25 inches – which the frame accommodates beautifully. While the instructions are a little light on info Anthrodesk has a YouTube channel with different videos that will assist you if necessary.Using the desk daily for the past month I can say I am thrilled with my purchase. My desk feels *very* solid and does not wobble when in use. The memory function on the controller is convenient and useful. Furthermore, it is very quiet when engaging the motor. It handles my set up with ease and does not sound strained or laboured when converting to standing mode. One nearly immediate benefit is that the back pain from sitting all day is gone. Further, I find it convenient to enter my office and complete a task without needing to sit. It is very easy to hop onto the computer for a quick email and then waste an hour on the internet because your chair is comfy.Overall, I would highly recommend this desk frame to anyone who is working serious hours in front of a computer. I gone through so many cheap, particle board IKEA knock-offs in my life and I knew it was time to purchase something that was high quality and functional. I am glad I did. I will never go back to a standard desk.

Good desk
Was a bit tricky to assemble, but not too complicated. Very solid, strong desk – it can handle all 3 of my monitors, peripherals, and the weight of me leaning on it from time to time. Haven’t had any issues yet, and the programmable presets are extremely convenient. The only complaint would be the shape/build of the button panel. Placing it in the right location can be tricky because you want to be able to reach it, but you also don’t want to hit/scrape your leg on it (which I’ve done several times). The only suggestion I can make to solve this is to reshape it and have a way to velcro or pin it to the ‘front-side’, not the under-side of the tabletop so that it’s completely flush.

High build quality
I purchased my Anthrodesk Programmable Dual Motor frame and ErgoActive 360 balance board and have been using it for over a month now at my home office. The frame is easy to assemble and very solid. The digital controls, once set up are easy to use. Iâve setup the two memory positions, one for when Iâm using the balance board and the other for when Im not.Well worth the money, they have changed how I work!

Standing desk, you can’t stand at!
Product worked great for 6 months, now it will not move up or down. Company sent out a new control box, that has the same problems as the old one. Will not go up or down.

Perfect Standing desk for my home office!
I am amazed by this product! I had a cheaper work desk since I started remote work 3 years ago. And it showed in terms of comfort and my productivity over the years . I didnt think that something like Anthrodesk existed. Although a bit pricey, I consider this purchase as an investment for better productivity and healthy lifestyle. Thank you AnthroDesk!

Heavy Duty
Picked up an Ikea Linnmon top for the desk and it’s been great for two months. I wish the Home position was programmable as well since it doesn’t get used otherwise, then m1 and m2 could be used to set standing heights for two users. The home position is just the default height at 28″ which I feel is missing the point.
