Sturdy, no frills bed frame
I bought this frame to replace my daughters older, squeaky bed frame. This new one came well packaged and the instructions were nice and clear. It also came with the tools needed for assembly, including a ratcheting allen wrench which I didn’t notice until 1/3 of the way through assembly.Only issue I had was getting one of the long-side frame edges locked together. It was a very tight fit, but after a scraped knuckle I got it locked in.Even though the frame is light, it’s good and sturdy, and no squeaking.

I had lots of room to store suitcases and other storage containers underneath. The only problem was that it did not have a “lip” around the sides to hold the mattress in place, so the mattress slid around a bit. Not a big deal.

Creaks, scratches floors, and eventually breaks
At first the bed seemed fine, but very soon it began to creak. Wasn’t that big of a deal. But then I quickly realized, even though the feet of the bed had rubber to protect, it quickly wore through and severely scratched my wooden floors. Then, after 1 year of owning the bed, 2 of the bed legs warped severely and 1 snapped off! The bed no longer holds. Very disappointing.

It was not expecting much when I had placed this order. I was under the impression that there may be some missing items or bent parts. Non of which to be evident upon it arrival. Everything with the exception of the packaging was beat up. I put the fram together with ease. I was very surprised of how sturdy it was. The height was perfect. No bent parts no scratches. Everything was like new. Definitely going to purchase again but in a different color for my sons room.
