    20 minutes the direction read. Well, in a room without the bed in the way, 3 sober people (and working with your spouse is not recommended) and all tools at the ready, I think an hour is fair time. I don’t recommend doing it alone! I did and it was really difficult. I am two days older than dirt and still sore, but it was fun! The headboard looks good when finished, just take your time and make sure its level. Good LuckPS. Air out the padded upholstered items before assembly. 5 days worked for me.
