Great product as for day 1 (updates to come)
Well, initially I got scared by people that complains they are too short or different other complains… Decided to risk as it looked to be the best option on Amazon for this price and the quality we can see here online.I am athletic, 1.73 m height so, not a tall or “big” guy so I hope I already “pushed down on stairs” those complains referring to these two âissuesâ (well, if a kid wrote one of the reports, yeah this chair is not for a kidâ¦)As soon as I received it in front of my house door, I just pulled the box in and (â¦check this out) I opened the door and took one by one the components and went in my basement where I assembled in 15 mins. I have to recognize I did it without looking on any instructions as I had an idea ho a chair look likeâ¦. I am sorry about that.The chair is amazing, very comfortable reclining is SUPER (even the footrest pad is reclining when you put your feet on and looks very solid! I received it very fast, but I am in Montreal so, not sure where you will be located, and this might be different.Thanks to the Manufacturer and I will recommend 100% to everyone to buy this product! I am just wondering what those negative comments are hiding behind those inexistent arguments⦠Anyway, just ignore them.I will update you in few months. Cheers Everyone!

reclining tension not tight enough
this is a great chair. very comfortable and great lumbar support for my bad back. however I wish the reclining tension was a little tighter to hold my weight. I will not be returning because I can lock it into a position I am comfortable, however i would rather not have to do this. another problem i find is with the arm rests, they do not lock when moving backward and forwards and the track is very loose. comfort wise this is a great chair and is very simple to assemble.

Great ergonomic chair
This is a really great ergonomic chair at this price. It has adjustable lumbar support, neck support, arm rest, seat height and back. My favorite feature of this chair is the foot/leg rest, very comfortable for resting and watching movies. The arm rest is a little hard, sometimes if I lean against the arm rest for too long, like couple hours, I feel a little pain in my elbow. But overall itâs a really great ergonomic chair.

Uncomfortable chair designed for a large sized person. Seller unreasonable!
Very uncomfortable chair. The minimum height adjustment is still high and uncomfortable for the knees for a short person like me. The seat and back are larger than regular chairs so that the back lumbar support is positioned high at its minimum adjustment that makes it useless as a lower back support since it pushes against mid back.The arm rests are oddly spaced widely aside that makes resting the arms on them a challenge. The distance between the right and left arm rest is more that the natural one making them uncomfortable. I think this chair was built for a large sized person only.Assembly was easy though.I contacted seller for return and will update this review after my interaction with them is complete.Update:Seller is ‘Save On Money’ and first they offered me $8 refund (I paid $240 for the chair) and suggested I sell it to a friend. When I declined and asked to return it they said I have to pay shipping both ways. Later on they offered to refund $10.I will not buy from them again.

Not for everyone, hard to return
Let’s start off with the good. This is a solid chair, rolls around easily, and the leaning back adjustments are great, I find the footrest is at a good place for the length of my feet. It takes longer to take it out of the packaging than to assemble it (about 30min total). There is one step where having a second set of hands would be useful, but it’s not impossible to get it done by yourself.The not-so-great: when I saw “mesh” I thought this would be a fabric mesh, but it actually is plasticy/rubbery mesh, which means if you’re wearing shorts and parts of your legs are not covered in clothing, the material WILL dig into your skin, get sticky and uncomfortable, and leave marks for a while after you get up. The armrests are positionned way too wide, and will move back and forward WITH NO LOCKING MECHANISM. If you’re like me and used to adjusting in your chair often or using the armrests to do some stretches, this will be annoying and jarring the first few times it happens.The bad: The lumbar support digs so far into my lower back I cannot have my upper back supported at the seated upright angle. No matter where I put it, I get shooting pain and discomfort after about 10 minutes. I have tried to contact the seller (SaveOnMany) and all they offered me was to keep the chair and try to sell it to someone else + 8$ refund! No one is buying a chair that’s already out of the box for 230$ I’m awaiting a possibly more reasonable accomodation here, but judging by another review, I doubt I’ll get much further. I’ll update when I have a resolution.

Good, solid chair. Itâs just Terribly uncomfortable. The mesh the chair seat and back, particularly the seat, is very hard and unpleasant to sit on. Do yourselves a favour, learn from my experience and bite the bullet to get a chair from SecretLabs.

Really enjoy the chair and it fits me well
Chair was very comfy and adjustable for my body type. I very much enjoyed it and it felt good quality. That being said, 4 months after purchase the locking mechanism for the backrest tilt function broke. Looks like the metal itself snapped in a location and not repairable by myself.[edit]The seller was very kind throughout support messages and they replaced the broken piece, the chair now works perfectly.Overall, comfort was good and support was very fast and easy in getting me a replacement part!

Almost
Great chair in general, but not exactly all there. Its lumbar support is definitely something significant compared to cheaper offerings, but sometimes I feel like having adjustable seat pan would have made it a whole lot better. Its a “cheaper” ergo chair, and not comparable to something like a Herman Miller so not going to make too much noise about it. The mesh does start out as comfortable, but you will experience some soreness or fatigue after a while. Don’t forget to get up once in a while and stretch!
