Decent mattress pad for price
1. I would consider this mattress pad to be a medium firmness with the softer side up. If you like something cushier, this is not the pad for you (our previous mattress pad was much softer than this but this one is still comfortable for us). You may want to consider the 4-inch mattress pad as it may give that extra bit of cushion the 3 inch doesnât.2. DO NOT attach the mattress pad to your mattress with the straps on the cover, especially if you have a deeper mattress. The cover actually compresses the foam and makes it feel firmer than it is. I took the cover off as it seems redundant, given that I already have a mattress protector on my bed. The mattress pad clings nicely to the mattress without the cover, actually better than with it on.3. For those complaining about the added height making it hard to keep your fitted sheet on, get sheet straps that have 3 straps (shaped like a Y). You attach one clip in the corner and then two on the sides and this holds your sheet on your mattress, even better than the traditional single-strap version that goes across the corner of your sheet.4. I donât know the durability of this mattress pad as we havenât had it long. But it is more than half the price of the previous one we had bought at a big box store that lasted less than 4 years, so if it lasts twice as long, itâll still be worth it. The quality seems to be on par with our previous one but time will tell. I would probably consider it equivalent to our old one had we purchased the 4-inch one instead.

Why did I wait so long.
Our matress is approaching 5 years old and this was almost like getting a new matress. The topper is breathable and didn’t take long to get to full thickness once removed from the box. Overall I would recommend to anyone as an alternative to replacing their matress. Also great for replacing RV and camper matresses as well. Easliy trimmed to size with an electric knife.

Great Topper to Upgrade any Mattress for Excellent Comfort and Support
 I was looking for a new mattress topper to upgrade my older double-sized (Full) mattress with springs, which is getting quite uncomfortable. I came across this thick 3-inch Hybrid full-size fresh foam mattress topper and was very interested, especially because it is a hybrid with bamboo charcoal and gel-infused layers. The topper looks well-made and the zipper cover looks great in pure white. I show in my video the topper being unboxed and set up. This topper comes in a box that will fit on the seat of any vehicle. After opening the box and following instructions the topper was very straightforward and quick to prepare. The topper is folded and compressed so when unfolding, it needs time to straighten out and expand to its maximum thickness of 3 inches. It recommends leaving the topper for 24 – 48 hours before using it, I placed it on a vacant bed for a few days. After 24 hours the topper expanded in-depth but needed more time, after about 48 hours the hybrid foam expanded to its full thickness, so I recommend leaving it as the instructions suggest. There is also a crease down the middle that takes even longer to flatten out, but after a few days, it was almost gone. The memory foam hybrid topper is very well-made and all stitches in the fabric cover are perfect. The foam is very thick, both layers are about 1 /1/2 inches in thickness. I only noticed a slight smell from the memory foam, after a few days there was no obvious odor.After trying out this mattress topper I was very pleased with how comfortable it has made my bed, it’s so smooth and soft on top and firm enough to give me good support. The elastic foam prevents sinking into the topper and springs back after lifting the weight. I love this mattress topper, it’s exactly what I needed to make my bed more comfortable. After first lying down for sleep my body felt cushioned, as if I was being cradled somewhat in the foam, just enough to feel amazing, guaranteed not to feel hard springs from an old mattress due to the three inches of foam. I have a washable cotton-filled mattress protector on my mattress topper to keep it like new for years. It’s exactly what I needed, right from the first night when I had a great night’s sleep. I believe this MAXZZZ Hybrid Fresh Foam Topper is of excellent value. I’m giving the Maxzzz Double Mattress Topper 5 stars.
