Sturdy bedframe, space-saving design
This loft bedframe was surprisingly sturdy given how sleek the posts are. It was easy to install with another person and took about 20 mins. The desk height is normal and leaves enough overhead room for someone who is 5’9″. There were just two considerations about this product: first, the ladders are on the left and right side, so it would be important to have enough space on the side for clearance. Secondly, I found the bed railings to be quite short… I can’t keep a mattress taller than 6″ on it otherwise there would not be enough safety rails when I sleep. Apart from these, it’s a well-built and sturdy bedframe that provides a comfortable desk space underneath.

Great solution when space is limited
Kids will get a kick out of this and maybe some smaller adults who have to make due with small spaces provided they don’t mind climbing a ladder to get in and out of bed. The all-metal frame is very sturdy when you secure all the bolts and easily supported a 200lb man doing his best to wobble the thing out of shape as a test. The bed area is sized for a twin mattress (not a twinXL) and is best suited for bed-in-a-box solutions where the bottom layer is a thicker, sturdier foam. I wouldn’t put an older style mattress in it because you’d feel the slats, but a memory foam mattress worked out perfectly. It’s surrounded by four “fences” so there’s no chance of rolling out of it when you’re sleeping, but you do have to hop over one when getting in and out (not a big deal; they’re not that tall) so measure the clumsiness of the intended occupant before clicking the buy button. The bottom compartment is a thin desk area that you can tuck a full-sized chair under and not have it getting in the way. There is a small metal grid to hang stuff on and/or decorate, but otherwise the bulk of the features in the bottom half of the frame is a slab of wood. It’s very thin so it’s intended to be used for laptops or smaller devices, not full fledged monitor + keyboard setups, though you could get it to work. It’d have been nicer to have a larger desktop as the rest of the space wouldn’t have suffered from a little less space; it’s pretty generous. The only downside here is that the slab shares the space with the frame’s ladder so you have to be mindful of putting stuff on either edge as a foot will knock it over easily when going up to the bed section.Otherwise, it’s a pretty smart design and easily gives you some extra room to work with in a small room or even a large room if you want space for something else. Great for kids or dorm rooms provided you can fit comfortably in a twin so tall peeps should look elsewhere. Also great if you’re sharing a common room and want more space in your bedroom. The construction is pretty sturdy and putting it together wasn’t too difficult. You’ll make your life easier if you get someone to help you as a solo build is going to be a bit cumbersome (but not impossible). The black coloring means it will go with anything. If the desktop came out a little more, I’d be happier, but if you’ve got your setup elsewhere, it can be a bonus if you just want to store a bunch of stuff down there instead of using it as a work space.
