Was exactly what we wanted
It did take some time to assemble as there are a lot of subroutines. The very top piece seems to be miss drilled that was disappointing but easily remedied. I’d buy it again. The manufacturer should offer some options like an LED lighting kit with the hold pre-drill to place them on the inside of the upper frame. It would be a nice addition.

3 boxes arrived destroyed so pieces were scratched up, the offered small 167$ refund ⦠and once everyting was installed and braced in the studs ⦠the mattress did not fit ⦠needs to be smaller than 55ââ⦠they coudlnât do anything moreâ¦.

Once we got the whole order delivered, sorted and checked all pieces were here. I labeled all the screws and hardware in individual containers and my son put it together without an issue. Loving it

Great murphy bed overall!
I was a bit hesitant at getting this bed due to some bad reviews but overall, it’s great. I gave 4 stars just because one of the wood pieces was slightly chipped and another one was a bit saggy, like it wasn’t as sturdy as the other ones. But my husband and I followed the directions and were able to install the bed and those issues turned out to be esthetic only. No pieces were missing and we got extra screws and stuff like that. The instructions were clear and when we were a bit unsure, we went to watch the videos that Paramount provides and it cleared up any confusion. All in all, took the two of us about 4-5 hours (that we spread over 2 days) to install the bed. I would buy again in a second! Considering the prices offered elsewhere for a bed like this one, it’s great value for the money.

We now have 3 of them in the house. 2 horizontal beds and one vertical bed. This one was not difficult to put together, but you do need two people. I love the murphy bed because it opens up the room with more floor space when the bed is not needed. It is great for our daughter because her dogs no longer play and throw all her bedding on the ground when she is at work. I recommend murphy beds if space and convenience is a need. However, I do not recommend murphy beds for Airbnb’s. We put purchased one that includes a couch in front of the Murphy bed and intelligence is not a requirement to rent an Airbnb. We finally just had to leave it down all the time which completely defeats the purpose. People just don’t think about flipping the bar over to hold up the bed to use the bed when it is pulled down. 🙁 🙁

So, I heard from other reviews the complaints about the build and I was hesitant on doing it myself Vs hiring someone. I spent about 7-8 hrs total building, 6 hours with a friend. We probably could of gotten it done quicker but we had to readjust a few things. The parts were all there and all labeled correctly. Instructions were great actually. It was the partial boards on front facing side and the handles/ lip of the front that took effort. The holes for the particle boards and the metal framing inside didnât match up fully with each panel (one did) in order to make them flush to each other. Also the handles were a little wonky and spaced out that it made the front feel like 3 separate pieces of wood at different levels and not connected like some of the photos. We ended up just creating our own pilot holes to flush them together and it looks way better. Therefor Iâm glad I had a friend who helped with the little details because I donât think a builder would have done that and it would not have looked as good or even.

So the bed is beautiful but the assembly is a pain and will test your patience.It has a ton of those cheap locking mechanisms where you gotta fit the bolt into it and turn it a certain way & only turn it halfway but if you apply to much force turning it then the little mechanism breaks. Plus one of the back boards seems to be flimsy compared to the rest. I have been assembling this thing by myself all day today and will have to finish tomorrow but I’d probably be done if it weren’t for those stupid locking mechanisms. Ridiculous hardware for that expensive of a bed. They could’ve done better. But at least the instructions were decent and the bed really is pretty.

Disappointed that it came chipped in a few places. But iâll fix it myself. Very comfortable even with a cheap $99 mattress I got on amazon.

A board came out of the box made wrong; therefore, we were unable to assemble the bed. I attempted to email the manufacturer and provided pictures which is the only way to get ahold of them; however, never received a response. Attempted calling directly, but you are unable to reach a person and the only option is to email. I would not recommend this bed because at this point we are not even able to assemble it, and there is no sign of getting it resolved.
