Color is Brown Not Cherry and Came with Large Scratch
If it weren’t for the wrong color described and large scratch/gouge on the front, this would be perfect. It’s a sturdy piece of furniture. I didn’t remove any stars for the color or scratch. It took 2 hours to put it together and the gliders are color-coded, making it easy to figure out.

Overall, this is a very nice dresser at its price point and was fairly easy to assemble (approx. 2 hours per dresser – we bought 2 to use as nightstands). One of the dressers was delivered with a gouge right on the front (see photo). Before I could take a pic of it, the hubby used a black marker. It is a solid dresser and it’s unfortunate the colour is not even close to our existing cherry dresser: in time, we probably won’t even notice which is why we’ll keep them.

Impeccable shipping, great medium-sized dresser
Just wanted to comment on the care that goes into shipping this thing. Unless there is a major fumble along the way, this will arrive unscathed in its thick industrial grade encased cardboard. Very appreciative for that, and also I’d recommend watching the assembly videos to help make everything nice and easy.Other than that, 2½ hours later you will have a very nice piece of furniture. I love this dresser! After a disappointing experience with Wayfair where the dresser I bought was difficult to construct, wobbly, and eventually only partially functional (I stuck it out for a year), I knew I needed a new dresser at a good price point. This was exactly the color and style I was looking for and I was very happy to get it for under $200, although a little nervous about what the quality would be like.It turns out I had nothing to be worried about–this dresser is exactly the color I was looking for and very sturdy (it’s actually very heavy–the sturdiness owes in part to the fact that the back of the dresser is a panel the same thickness and material as the top and sides, not cardboard like you’ll see with some cheap furniture). It doesn’t wobble at all, the drawers glide like a dream, and I was able to put it together myself in a couple of hours with minimal frustration. I also appreciated that it shipped with lots of extra padding inside the box to minimize any damage during transit. This is the perfect dresser if you’re looking for mid-century modern style on a budget and need a dresser for a tight space–my apartment’s bedroom is so small that I can only fit a dresser in the space pictured, so it was important to me that I got a dresser that was small enough for the space while still holding all my clothes (I actually think these drawers are larger than the drawers of my previous dresser).For me, the little touches on this dresser really make it worth it. The solid wood legs are very stylish, and the included drawer pulls are made of a nice metal and add some subtle shine. The finish on the MDF actually looks decently like real wood too–it doesn’t strike me as cheap. However, I’d still be careful with how you treat the surface–I placed a glass of water on the top, and the large amount of condensation did leave a slight bubble on the finish, although it’s only noticeable now if you know where to look.In short, if you’re on the fence–buy it!

Looks beautiful and great storage but don’t ever put any cups of vases or anything moderately damp because it ruins the top of the furniture. Very weak material on top anything even damp will swell up the material

The unit is good-looking, but the assembly is nasty, no parts are marked with the letters they have on the instructions, so not sure why these letters are even on the instructions. I definitely didn’t have a pleasant time assembling the unit.

I was trying to match the finish to nightstands in my guest room and this cherry chest is exactly as shown in the pictures. Assembly took some time but the instructions were clear. Totally satisfied with the finished product! I am a (female) senior citizen and if I can assemble it, so can you!!ð

The drawers all have different gap sizes. A little embarrassing looking. Not like the photos advertised. This is a quality control issue because all holes a pre drilled. That meant a they werenât measured correctly. Itâs functional and it was hard work assembling so Iâm keeping it. The hardest part is actually getting the feet on. They shouldâve designed the screws for the feet to be compatible with a power screw driver. They made them for a tiny Allen wrench, and they are extremely difficult to get in. I ordered this chest along with the 6 drawer dresser and 2 night stands. The dresser also had issues but is going to function. Havenât assembled the night stands yet.
