I use it all the time!
I keep kicking myself for waiting so long to upgrade to a standing desk- no turning back. I use it all the time as the title suggests. I was worried about fatigue from standing too long , not getting any additional benefits by standing, or simply not using it. I think for anyone looking to get the most out of their standing set up look in to a balance board like FluidStance.I can stand for hours without sore feel or back pain + I am constantly moving.Set up was easy, I did it myself -granted I installed this at the smallest width for my 37″ wide “gaming desk” top. I imagine you will require a hand to flip it if you have a wider/heavier table top. The build is solid, high quality, and really sturdy. I have a lot of crap on my desk including a 34″ ultrawide monitor on a grommet mounted arm and This table does not even move slightly. Motor is not that loud and moves up and down pretty fast.

Solid standing desk!
My first standing desk, but from the looks of things it is really good and solid – it feels really sturdy and it does the job!Likes: very sturdy, the panel with option to set different heights as a setting is awesomeDislikes: it is quite heavy! Requires 2 ppl to get it assembled to the final product.

Great frame
I love this frame. A little wobbly at the standing position but manageable.

Sturdy , quiet and excellent for my height
Wasnt so easy to assumable (mostly because ive done it alone), but it hits the height comfortable for me to stand (im 6’0) and the engine is not that loud. The one thing im worry about is how much time would this least as i using the programmed heights up down about 10-12 times a day , not sure this little engine or the bar would hold for long.

Works well!
Iâve been wanting a standing desk but the options for ones with drawers are few and far between, or are very expensive. I already had the ALEX desk from IKEA so checked the weight capacity on these rising legs and thought Iâd try it out!! Works great. I was worried the screws might interfere with the drawers but it was no problem at all.One thing to note is that even when it was at its lowest height, it is still a little high, so you want to make sure your desk chair can be raised, and you may still even need to put a cushion on it, and have a foot rest. Would recommend!

Affordable but astonishing it doesn’t go lower
I’m 6′ and have fairly long legs and I have to have my chair at it’s max height and use a foot rest in order to use this at it’s lowest setting while sitting and keep an ergonomic posture. I find that astounding personally. As other reviews have said, assembly was fine (although did take some time) and the mechanism works well. At the height I need it at while standing it is a tad wobbly but I stopped noticing after a while so that’s good. I think the cable management system is not the best, but for the price it’s hard to complain too much. The memory settings are super handy though.Saying that, if I were to buy another standing desk I would take these things into consideration and for sure spend a bit more in order to get legs that lowers to a reasonable level. I’m a bit surprised more people aren’t talking about this issue (I know it’s a standing desk but you shouldn’t be standing all day just as you shouldn’t be sitting all day).-edit- So after contacting VIVO support they alerted me to the fact that the desk needed to be reset (unplug for 5 seconds, replug, then hold the down arrow for 5 seconds). It’s miraculously lowered another 3 inches and now I can actually sit at the desk properly. After MONTHS of struggling with this issue I’m suddenly super relieved and have changed my score to 4 stars.

Super sturdy
Take your time to build it. Once built it is a very sturdy desk!

I was surprise how sturdy this frame is. The motorized action is smooth and quiet. It starts slow then accelerates. This is good because it doesn’t cause vibrations that would cause things to roll off the desk.I like the single motor design because there is less chance of the motors getting out of sync. (see reviews of other products). I also like the flexibility of using other brand parts like the top and cable management. It was easy to adjust the width. Someday I might decide to size up the top or maybe scale down.I was also impressed at some attention to detail. The kit came with grommets that isolate the desk top from the frame. This cuts vibration and prevents scratching of a real wood desk. While it doesn’t some with caster wheels, the adjustable feet can be removed and replaced with casters.I find the three memory positions to be enough. I use one for sitting, one for standing, and one for a balance chair. So far I have no issues with weight capacity. I use three heavy monitors and a solid wood top.Assembly is a bit tricky but not too bad. The trickiest was inserting the synchronization rod (keeps the legs at same height). But after figuring it out I had no issues. I will so that if you have trouble assembling IKEA furniture you are going to find this assembly difficult. Personally, I never read instructions and just put stuff together. This one I had to actually read the instructions. Minus one star for of ease of assembly but I’m still quite happy with the sturdiness and value for the money.I would buy another.A quick tip for assembly: the synchronization rod might need to be rotated slightly to get it into the left side. It might only need about 1/8 of a turn. Plug it in while still upside down and let the motor do the work.

Great customer service who responded fast to all my questions as I was making my purchase decision. When I purchase items I like to have options and flexibility built in. This frame was perfect for that and affordable. It was important to me to customize the tabletop dimensions – many desks are huge and I needed a smaller desk so I bought this frame. I also didnât think Iâd be standing all the time so I didnât want to splurge on a standing desk, I just wanted the option to stand. Fits caster wheels (Vivo sells) so these are great options for later. It was easy to put together. The memory presets, speed, height (low and high) all are great! The max height will allow me to put a treadmill under if I ever choose to.Been about a month of use. Love this desk so far. Iâve enjoyed standing. It gives my body a break and reenergizes me instantly. Iâve also had co workers collaborate at my desk/monitor and this so much easier and comfortable when I raise my desk – no hunching over.

Bought a “Good” used version of this from VIVO for like $50 less than the new price, and everything turned out great! The only thing missing was a single screw.Due to some back problems, I wanted to get a standing desk to help work from home on. After searching through a couple sites, IKEA, Uplift, etc- I found this VIVO one for pretty cheap and decided to take a crack at it.I used my old Bekant desktop from IKEA, which worked perfectly. All the screws fit well within the thickness of the desktop. Setup was pretty simple, though illustrations on the instructions were a bit of a headache to figure out when pieces look so similar. It probably took me a couple hours, including taking apart my old desk and everything. So really it wasn’t that long to make.I think I might wish the power cord for the control pad were a bit longer, but that’s my only real complaint. It’s nice having the 1-2-3-4 saved heights without spending like $100 or more for the “feature.” Overall, I’m just really pleased with it!

Desk frame dimensions… 33″ L minimum, 22.5″ D minimum desktop, 25.5″ D feet, and adjustable between 28.875″H to 48.5″H (plus your top thickness). 3 memory settings, which I have setup for “low”, “high”, and “out of the way”.Due to the small size of my apartment, I needed a small desk (no more than about 36″ wide) and needed good access to the closet. This desk fit that bill. The adjustable height is great because I can easily raise this desk 4′ in the air, so I can kneel or sit on the floor to get to the bottom of my only closet. Or keep it at a normal level and get to the hanging bar and top shelves. The adjustable width makes it useful today and it’ll grow with me when I finally buy a house. The birch butcher block I put on top still needs to be cut to width, I need to router the edges, and I need to finish it. It obviously overhangs the bed. I can however put the desk up plenty high so that it doesn’t get kicked when in bed.Materials quality seems good for 2 Benjamins. The metal seems plenty sturdy and plenty heavy. I didn’t have any issues with strip-out on the threads or any fasteners. The fastener count was very exact– there were exactly enough bolts, screws, and anti-vibration pads. Unfortunately there were no extras so if you lose anything, you’re going to the hardware store for more. The paint finish looks good but it hasn’t really gotten a workout yet. I’m still waiting for the RMA on my monitor and looking for a mountable UPS or surge protector in the meantime. I’m concerned about future issues with rust (nothing apparent after a week or so). I’m very concerned about the anti-vibration pads: they tear easily when you put a screw through them as intended. I don’t know if they’ll be reusable or if I’ll have to figure out an alternative (adhesive felt?) when I move the desk in the future. I bought this for the motor and for the small adjustable size, so I’m hoping it’ll grow with me.

I bought this for my daughter for her birthday and purchased a living edge table top for it. It looks great. The things I like about the vivo are1. The mechanism that raises the table top is very smooth and even2. The table base can be extended to over 6. 5 feet long if the need arises for a bigger desk. That was one of the selling points for me. My daughter doesn’t have room for a desk longer than 4 feet right now, but if she should move to a bigger office, she can just get a new top and keep the base.3. It feels pretty heavy duty. The pieces are made of strong metal and will likely last a long time.4. There is a collision detection mechanism that backs off a few millimeters if it senses that the desk has come into contact with something while raising it.5. It has presets so you can save your favorite heights if you use the same heights a lot, or if two different people use the desk. I can’t remember if it was 3 or 4 presets, but I think that’s a great feature. The things I didn’t like as much.1. the extension bar was a little difficult to install when putting the table together and, in fact, I stripped the set screw while trying to install it the first time. (But the Vivo person I talked to was super helpful and sent out a replacement right away) One end is hexagonal (or octagonal, I didn’t take time to count the sides) and that end has to go in first. But when you extend the other end (that is the end with the set screw) it doesn’t really match up and you kind of have to twist it in place. I tried to twist it, but it didn’t seem to work the first time and that is why the set screw got stripped, I was trying to force it into place. But with the new one they sent it was super easy and worked perfectly the first time. Not sure if it was me or the extension rod that was messed up the first time.2. Some of the screws seem pretty short for such a heavy frame. There was one set of screws that I think connected the cross bars to the legs, but I might be misremembering that, that were super short. I was really worried that they would give way too easily. The screws that attached the table top to the base seemed a bit short too, but that is likely because people use table tops of different depths. And for the table top there were several screws. I don’t know if I’m just being extra cautious or if those really short screws are a problem or not. The table was lifted into a car, driven around in the car for a day, then lifted out of the car, and turned on it’s side to fit through a couple doors and it didn’t come apart. (My daughter did say she tightened down all the screws before she started using it.) And so far it’s working fine so they might not be a problem. I just would have used longer screws.Hopefully it lasts a good long time. But I’m pretty happy with it now.
