Pure Formulation
We produce our foam using only natural latex harvested from organically grown rubber trees; we never use any synthetic latex in our foam. We also never use any fillers. The use of fillers lowers the cost to produce latex foam but comprises the foam’s performance qualities.
Consistency
It is challenging to maintain cosmetic and performance consistency when manufacturing natural latex foam. This is an excellent product. I aired it out in a spare room with a partially open window. No fumes at all after 2 days. It is soft and did change my very hard mattress into a very cushioned feeling mattress. Bounces right back after use with no residual compression like memory foam.

We bought a mattress that I feel that is too hard and uncomfortable for my liking. My partner loves the new mattress while I always hate it. I tried many pads and this is the only one that worked well. I bought a 1″ twin size and cut to adjust the size so the pad is only on my side of the bed. We’re both happy now! I had no problems with smell, the pad is very comfortable and it feels like it belongs to the original mattress as it doesn’t move and it stays on its place. Overall I love it and really recommend it.

Comfy, yet a few issues to be mindful of.
Overall I’m impressed with the cost and quality of the item from a feels supportive yet soft position. That being said, it is shorter than anticipated. A king mattress is 76×80 and the topper is about 2 inches shorter lengthwise and a half-1 inch width wise. It isnt s huge deal, but it is noticiable for my husband who is 6’3″.
Unlike the same kind of king topper I bought from a different manufacturer, foam by mail 5 years back same ild number in softness and same kind of latex… this topper is currently off-gassing, alot. Our first latex topper never did.
And, having worked in the latex industry previously with speciality latex beds I had not smelt this smell and it makes me wonder if this latex topper is natural or a synthetic blend of hevia milk and polyurethane etc.,
I don’t find it hot at all yet so most likely natural, but the smell is off putting and we will be airing it out tmrw for the whole day.
I think it is worth the price and it is comfortable yet do fornit out and be mindful if the slight size variation.

Great customer service, now I don’t need a whole new mattress
My mattress was too firm and was causing back pain. I found out about this product and thought I’d try it instead of buying a whole new mattress. I couldn’t decide between the 2″ and the 3″ so I called the Sleep On Latex company directly and got connected to Carl. Carl was extremely helpful and actually recommended the 2″, from what I had told him of my situation. I was very happy that he didn’t just try to upsell me, but actually listened to what I needed.
I’ve been sleeping on it now for about 3 weeks – feels great (slept on it from the very first night) – and doesn’t smell bad. I have a VERY sensitive nose so I was a little concerned from reading other reviews. However Carl recommended some tips and I didn’t have any problems with smell at all.
Overall very happy – saved me a whole lot more money since I didn’t need to buy a new mattress. And I also really appreciate that the company is based in North America, and it promotes mattress recycling. Eco-conscious. I feel really happy to support this company (which is why I’m writing this review too). Hope you guys do well as a business!
Honestly, if you have any questions about the mattress topper at all, just call the company number (it is a US number but I used Google Hangouts to call for free) and speak to them. They are a pleasure to deal with.

If you have a nose, beware of this topper!
This topper was extremely comfortable. I loved it and so badly wanted to keep it but we had to return it because the smell was simply horrendous. We gave it about 3 weeks of airing out but it made no difference. The smell was very strong and would cling to your skin and clothing. It was gross. I emailed Sleep on Latex customer service and they told me I must have a sensitive nose. I might, but everyone in the house commented on the smell – it was so, so strong. Not great customer service to be told there is nothing wrong with the product, the problem is you.
Also, it was cut wrong. We ordered a Queen which should have been 60×80 or slightly under, what we received was 62.5 x 82. It made the bed all lumpy around the edges and pushed the mattress cover and sheets off.
Overall, we were very disappointed and it was a major pain to get it back in the box to return. Poorly handled by Sleep on Latex in my opinion.

Very soft, made our mattress feel comfy
We were a bit hesitant after reading reviews that the odour was unbereable. But to be honest, we surprisingly weren’t bothered by the smell. It smells very natural, like rubber. And once it went under our mattress cover and fitted seats, the smell was unnoticeable. We bought this topper for our Endy mattress and we are so pleased, finally no more back pain in the morning.

This is a great 3″ all-latex topper. It’s soft, comfortable, and very cool to sleep on â I used it on top of my organic Avocado mattress to add some additional cushion instead of opting for the sewn-in pillow top. It sort of feels like sleeping on a fresh (non-stale) marshmallow or fluffy cheesecake LOL… not sure how else to describe it. It definitely has bounce/springiness to it (does NOT feel at all like memory foam â it’s a way better experience than that).
But, personally, I think it might be just a bit too soft for me. I have lower back pain/arthritis, and while this is a comfortable topper to lay on, sometimes the softness can cause a bit too much sinking in and/or make it difficult to get up in the morning (in an ow my lower back hurts way). But, then again, sometimes this isn’t the case, either. For reference, I’m 6′ tall and weight 220lbs, so for smaller humans it may work well, as you wouldn’t sink in as much. Really it depends on you, your body, and your preferences.
I think for anyone looking for a soft, 100% natural mattress topper, this is a fantastic and affordable option â but maybe consider the 2″ instead of the 3″, depending on the mattress you have underneath. One inch doesn’t sound like much of a difference, but it is.
It’s also worth noting that some people may not enjoy the slight odor of natural latex, but I like it â it smells fresh in a way. And it’s WAY better than the smell (and negative health effects) of synthetic foams.
One thing to note, though… these 3″ toppers are fairly heavy and difficult to move. To move/store it, I have to fold it in half and roll it up, then wrap a small rope around it several times and tie it to secure it in place. And it does take up quite a bit of storage space if not on the bed, but… well, that’s fine. Just something to note.

Came on time, packaged nicely and protected. This latex topper is good for putting on a bed or being used with a 6 inch core or with another 3 inch topper in place of a mattress.
Soft is not very supportive. It is for pressure points and adding just the smallest amount of extra cushion for hips/low back and shoulders to sink while the waist and lower chest (and ribs) remain elevated.
Medium is for support and comfort. If pressure relief isn’t super important, sleeping directly on medium is fine. It provides support and plenty of “give.”
Firm is exclusively for support. If you’re a very “straight-bodied” person, you can sleep directly on this and feel comfortable. Otherwise it is best to top it with a soft or medium, or soft and medium.
I personally received 3 inch medium and 3 inch soft. I’m male, 150lb, 5 foot 8. Not quite enough mattress to adequately support my weight on my side, but just enough for on my back. Would recommend getting 9 inches in total if you weigh more than me. I suggest getting the soft-medium, medium-medium, medium-firm, or soft-firm combo before getting your last 3 inches so you know how it will interact with your other two 3 inch layers.
