Beautiful rich walnut desk top
We renovated our basement in 2018 to create two home offices. I have been using a standing desk at work and I wanted to make sure I had a full standing desk at home. I had been making do with a cheap table with some pine boards on top and then COVID-19 hit and I found myself working from home full time and could no longer put off the expenditure. I had already identified this table top as part of a combination sold by Anthrodesk and wanted to get it with the two motor standing desk. Unfortunately, when I found myself needing to order it, they were sold out of the two motor desk and had been for weeks. Eventually, I discovered that I could get the top separately through Amazon and was able to source a two motor standing desk base from another supplier. They both arrived within a few days of each other.The top is beautiful. It is a veneer product but you can tell it is a quality veneer because you really wouldn’t know looking at the desk that it wasn’t solid walnut. The box was very well padded with foam taped on the outside and the table top inside a cardboard box with some additional padding. Unfortunately, at some point it must have been dropped on a corner as despite all the foam one of the corners was a little dented and the veneer was cracked. On the opposite corner the veneer wrap on the edge had a bit of a seam and there was a faint scratch on the surface on one side. I contacted the seller and they were excellent. They offered to either replace the top or provide me with a partial refund. I realized I could still make use of this top without any of the minor blemishes being visible. I put the scratched side down and oriented the damaged corner towards the wall. So, I accepted the partial refund and it was processed promptly.I have been using this desk for a week now and I very much like the top. It was easy to install on the desk base and the surface is smooth so it is easy to write on. The square footage is more than sufficient for the stand that holds my dual 27″ monitors, my laptop and stereo speakers, as well as my office VOIP phone and a separate home phone. It is 1″ thick so a sturdy MDF type product and the veneer is, with the minor issues I noted, expertly applied. The walnut colour is beautiful and pairs well with the black steel legs of the powered based. I am a stickler for real wood for a desk and with this table top you get a genuine wood surface, in a quality top from a company with excellent customer service. I highly recommend this top.

Beautifull wood but a bit dammaged
I had a couple defaults on the wood but luckily I could hide them. Overall a very beautifull wood with a nice finish.

I’m Pretty Impressed
I am actually pretty impressed with the veneer walnut table top. For the price, I am really happy. I live in a condo and the size is great. Colour is good and hides dust well. Table has a good finish, and a simple damp paper toilet/micro fibre cloth cleans it beautifully.Legs are metal and purchased from another company. I used 5/8â inch wood screws with an impact drill

Came exactly as advertised. A little heavy for me so I needed another person to help move it, but worked well with my standing desk setup.

Received with markings and adhesive marks, scratches easy
The desk top arrived with scratches and some kind of glue on the surface, mostly around the edges. I thought this could be washed off, so I assemble my desk with the table top, then cleaned it, however the adhesive would not come off. Iâve used a variety of products to try to get the glue marks off, but nothing has worked, it must be some kind of epoxy. There were also many other markings, from gouges to weird bumpy patches. The desk top also scratches very easily (from my plastic keyboard being on it), which wouldnât be so bad except the scratches are very noticeable. The wood is dark, and the scratches are white. Itâs like the wood is actually a light colour, and had a dark varnish put on which is now scratching off revealing the light wood underneath. Overall not really happy with the product especially considering the price of it. It looks cheap with all the adhesive stains and light coloured scratches.

Very good table top, especially for the price!
The product came in very quickly, and it is a very beautiful table top.One of the side was clearly meant to be the bottom part of the desk (little more weird patterns, small wear) while the other side was beautiful.I have my office desk on it now, with a two monitor arm, my laptop, etc, and very sturdy. Honestly, an awesome purchase!

Gorgeous wood, but
I bought this table top to add to a standing desk setup only a few months ago but the veneer is cracking on it already. I think the wood may have been still a bit humid before it was glued on.
