I love this mattress highly recommended
This mattress is a blessing for me. I’ve been on this cot mattress for a while that wore out. I was worrying this might feel as cheap as the cot mattress but it’s not, it’s actually very firm and comfortable. I was surprised and impressed. The price is very good too. With a mattress cover and sheet it smells fine to me, there was a bit of smell at first but went away after a couple days. It’s a bit difficult to fold up like a cheap cot mattress of course, but you could if you had straps, or a small rope or whatever to quickly tie it down if you really wanted to. I slept so well when I got this thing and still love it. If you only have a small bed like me, get yourself a high quality mattress like this for a good price it’s worth it, we spend so much time sleeping and it’s the most important thing for health and well-being.

Very comfy mattress. Love it so far other than it not being super supportive (because it is memory foam) and the smell of it when it first arrived irritated my throat and gave me a stuffy nose which made for a bad sleep.
*******UPDATE: I recommend letting the mattress air out for a day or so once it is opened. Zinus also recommends this as well. I have slept on this mattress for almost a week now and it has been great! It is comfortable. It just takes awhile to get used too if you have never slept on a memory foam mattress before. I definitely should have waited a few more days before writing my first review. Good mattress for the price it is.
Once again, I will update this review if anything changes.
** UPDATE OCTOBER 2023!! This mattress is finally starting to hang itâs hat. Recently started hurting my back, but it did itâs duties for the time being. Now i fear it may be time to move on..

Best purchase Iâve ever made on Amazon!!
After watching a CBC marketplace revealing the high price markups, misleading advertising on mattress technology, the bogus sleep/health claims made by mattress companies, and that most mattresses are just fundamentally the same, we took a risk buying a bed online. We never saw the mattress or bed frame in person, and never tested them in real life before making this purchase. Neither the bed frame or mattress was recommended to us by friends; nobody we knew had tried this company before. We actually heard about Zinus products on Reddit of all places, and spent some time browsing the Amazon reviews before taking a deep breath and rolling the dice. After having this bed setup now for a month, I think I can give an honest review.
Motion:
This is a FOAM mattress, so no springs or coils. You donât bounce well if you jump on this bed, but that means when you get up at midnight to pee or if youâre on overnight call for work, your partner wonât feel you getting in and out of bed so you donât wake them.
Also, the mattress covering isnât too slippery, so the corners of my bedsheets never spring loose and fly off. Itâs nice to wake up and not be tangled in a bottom fitted sheet that escaped in the night!
Noise:
Silent! Foam mattress means thereâs no metal crunching or creaking!
Comfort:
Itâs not like sinking into a basket of feathers, thereâs a bit of firmness to it when you first lie down that softens up and shapes to your body within a minute or two. Itâs not so firm that itâs uncomfortable though, and you can always purchase fluffy mattress pads for $100-$300 if you prefer something softer. I find it firm enough to give good lumbar spine support while soft enough to prevent pressure points, so you donât feel stiff or achy in the mornings. Itâs a great sleep!
Height:
I was worried about this bed being too low to the ground because it doesnât need a box spring, but it is actually taller than my old bed. Mattress and frame together are 24 inches high.
Assembly:
Easy peasy. Had it together in 15 minutes or so. Not like IKEA furniture! Promise!
Price:
Canât be beat!
Mattress was the 10 inch thick King for $370.
The king sized âZinus Essential Upholstered Platform Bed Frameâ was $235.
Boxspring not needed and delivery free, so for a grand total of $605 we had a king size bed delivered right to our front door!
Compare this to the store prices for a king mattress near us – $1500!! Not including the frame, boxspring, or delivery! I figured if I buy a bed online and itâs not comfy, I could always buy a $300 mattress pad to make it more soft or firm to my liking, and Iâd still be saving money than if I bought in a store. But turns out, a mattress pad wasnât needed at all!
Temperature Control:
Foam mattresses do tend to get warmer than interspring mattresses; I donât personally find a heat/temperature/moisture difference between this mattress and our old coil one, but YMMV.
Durability:
Itâs only been one month so too soon to tell, but so far so good. No sagging, still provides great support,
Overall:
Yes, it was nerve wracking to buy a bed online. But this one was so totally worth it. Iâm now recommending this mattress to my friends and family and will definitely purchase again for our spare bedroom!

Comfortable, cost effective, sleeps cool, no odor, supportive.
I have slept on many mattresses in my life, spring and memory foam. I spent nearly a month looking at memory foam mattresses as they are not all the same. What I liked about this one is it had 3 inches of memory foam and multi layers of comfort and support foam. When I looked at other similar priced ones they only had 2 inches of memory foam, so this grabbed me right away at 3 inches. I would say that this is much nicer to sleep on than an Endy or Casper, considering the price point you can’t go wrong. I’m not a light weight person, so getting the 10 inch he mattress was perfect and supports me easily. I look forward to going to bed now that I have a mattress that is so comfortable! When I opened the bag the bed inflated very quickly, all of the mattress was level and flat with no dips or bends at the sides and no gross smell like you get with a lot of these kinds of mattresses. It also allows my dog to jump on and off the bed at night to not wake me. The best thing is it doesn’t sleep hot, so if you get warm during the night this mattress is not going to make you warmer. The cover on the mattress is plush and in the box you get a thank you card from the company, you also get some none marked cards to give people for birthdays or holiday occasions which is a nice touch. I really believe this mattress was far beyond my expectations and anyone doing their research can stop here, believe me I did plenty before getting this one. The only down side is its shipped by Purolator so do not expect it to be getting there on time, I had quite the argument with them when they said they misplaced a mattress….. A mattress. The manager soon made sure it was found and put on the next truck but if I hadn’t caused quite the stink I’d probably still be waiting.

It didn’t take a lot of time to form back into shape! I was hesitant on buying the bed but after I got it I can tell you that you shouldn’t be hesitant at all. For the price the quality is pretty amazing! For me I have grown to like firm beds! This one is I’d say 80% firm and 20% soft. There’s no overly sinking feeling when lying on the bed just a very slight natural form of sink to shape your body. I’m definitely happy with my mattress and if you’re looking for a replacement on your camper don’t overthink just get it trust me it’s definitely worth the price! Short Queen was a perfect size fit for my camper as well.

La calidad del colchón es muy buena, la comodidad también está muy bien. Mucho mejor que el colchón tradicional. Se descansa mejor y se duerme más plácidamente.
Te dicen que esperes horas para poderlo utilizar, pero si llaman a la competencia e investigan, vean que al dejarlo expandirse por un rato ya se puede utilizar, aunque la máxima comodidad se logra en el tiempo estipulado.
El olor que tiene de fábrica se va conforme pasa el tiempo, por lo que no hay que preocuparse.
Una gran inversión si toman en cuenta la garantÃa de 10 años. Igual que la competencia ya un menor precio.

Juntos de nuevo. Cuando te dicen que no escatimes en un colchón no podrÃa estar más de acuerdo, a fin de cuentas vas a pasar un tercio de tu vida ahÃ, y quién sabe, con suerte quizá más….guiño guiño. Después de todo, despues de dormir, en un colchón puedes hacer una de laws mejores cosas en la vida, es decir…comer en la cama.
Si ustedes, como yo, habÃan estado presos de los colchones de resorte porque pensaban que no podián costear un colchón de memory foam, permÃtanme comentarles que estabamos en un error. Un error enorme pero en serio.
El precio de este colchón parece ser demasiado bueno como para ser cierto, y nosotros como mexicanos estamos programados para desconfiar de ello. Pero *spoiler alert* es cierto! Este colchón es una jo-yi-ta, por este precio muy a duras penas podrÃamos comprar un colchón de resortes de una merca medio conocida que simplemente no nos encantarÃa y sólo comprarÃamos porque “es buen precio, total”.
Pues no, con el colchón Zinus obenemos TO-DO, priemero que nada, ustedes recibirán en casita este colchón en una caja bastante compacta y no muy pesada. Acto seguido, por favor lean las muy sencillas instrucciones en español o inglés (por si le están pegando duro al Harmon Hall) en donde se les indicará claramente que deben sacarl el colchónj de la caja, que en ese punto parecerá un delicioso burrito de memory foam, después deben rasgar con las manos el plástico para que el colchón se extienda, después deben quitar el plástico protector y como por arte de magia el colchón comenzará a “inflarse” por si sólo.
Las instrucciones dicne que debe dejarse reposar por entre 24 y 48 hrs para que el colchón obtenga su tamaño debido, sin embargo, en mi caso el tiempo en que esto se logró fue ridiculamente corto, en menos de una hora el Zinus se habÃa extendido en su totalida de altura y estaba esponjoso y bonito.
Otra cosa a recalcar, es que en las indicaciones se coemtna sobre la posibilidad de que tu colchón tenga un olor “extraño” debido al material con el que esta fabricado, que esto es totalmente normal y en breve se le quitará. pero, en mic aso este olor simplemente no existÃa. Al abrir el colchón se sentÃa fresco, esponjoso y no tenÃa nungún olor.
El colchón en cuestión viene ya con una funda, la cual se peude quitar en cualquier momento gracias a su zipper y ser lavada si es deseado, auqneu esta funda no es impermeable, por lo que si queiren esta caracterisitca deben comprar una funda. Aunque los colchones tradicionales no vienen con funda y este sÃ, por lo que es una gran ventaja
Asà llegamos a la pregunta obligada: es comodo? Pero increiblemente comodo!!!!
La capa superior de memory foam se almoda perfectamente a tu peso y fugura, si duermes boca arriba te “sumergiras” sólo lo necesario para estar como y no tneer presión en tu espalda, si duermes de lado la presión en tus hombros y cadera simplemente desaparecerá como magia.
El colchón se amolda a tu cuerpo, no sientes presión, no sientes tu peso, pero no te hundes, el soporte es perfecto. Pensar en volver a un colchón de resortes será obsceno. El futuro es hoy, viejo!
Si han llegado hasta este punto de mi review y no han comprado este colchón, hermanos, no sé qué esperan. En cualqueir otro lugar deberÃan pagar al menos el doble por este colchón, su manufactura es top, su embalaje es top, es precioso, quizá lloren de felicidad en su primer noche juntos, es razonable.
En cuanto a la logistica de mis amigos de Amazon, precisa, perfecta como siempre. Compré este colchón un viernes a las 23:00 hrs y el domingo a las 9:00 estaba en mi domicilio, gracias a las bondades de Amazon Prime, increible!

We bought this mattress to replace the horrible one that came with our new camper. The short queen fit perfectly! After unpacking and letting it rise the full 72 hours we have a great 8 inch mattress . I would call it medium soft to firm, but definitely not to firm as to be uncomfortable. I am definitely impressed by quality, and comfort and was well worth the money! Noticed no strange chemical smell if your hesitating, go buy it!!!
