Huge improvement over previous mattress – some degradation over time
I was previously using a smaller cheap spring mattress with no box spring. This is the first memory foam mattress I’ve used, and it was definitely a huge improvement. I’m happy with my purchase.
I was a bit concerned that the “firm” rating, especially with the low thickness, might be *too* firm. However, I’m pretty happy with the firmness of it – I would want something softer for a pillow but I think it’s right for a mattress. It is very comfortable. It does have a faint odour (as I understand is typical for memory foam mattresses) which still lingers almost a week later but this may be because I haven’t properly aired it out. The odour is fairly mild and does not disturb me.
I got this on sale for about $180. I probably wouldn’t pay the list price for this product (currently $645 according to Amazon) though I might pay Amazon’s price of $363.

I’ve had this for about eight months now. While I’m still fairly happy with it – it’s certainly an improvement on the cheap spring mattress I had before – I’ve noticed that it has started to sink a little more in some places.

Great mattress
Purchased 2 mattress for a day bed. Have been sleeping on them during the remodel of my main bedroom. Truly comfortable. However firm means firm not hard. Also slight panic the box was printed XL but the mattress was regular length. I price shop prior to my purchase and it is a great value.

Very happy for the price
I’m subletting a furnished apartment for a summer away from home, and it came with a soft mattress that was like sleeping in jello — not good for my bad back! I needed something compact for condo delivery, firm, and relatively inexpensive, given that I would only be keeping it for four months. Also, something that my husband would find comfortable when he visits. I bought this based on other reviews, and I am very pleased with it given the price point. It is firm and comfortable for both of us. I’m not sure that would be true for bigger people, but we are averagely sized — both over 5’4″ and under 175lbs. It’s not as good as our mattress at home, but it was also about 1/4 the price. No complaints! Also, mine did not have the strong smell that others have mentioned. Almost no smell at all, actually.

Noisy
Every time I move, it sounds like Iâm farting. (Substitute âpassing gasâ if âfartingâ is not allowed.) Once Iâm asleep though, the noise doesnât seem to bother me. Except, once in awhile, a noise will wake me. I just have to lift the covers to determine if it was me or the mattress. Other than that, the mattress seems to be fine. It doesnât seem to retain any odours (thankfully) and is, as advertised, quite firm. If you are looking for a firm mattress, and donât mind feeling like youâre in a farting contest, I recommend this mattress. I wouldnât recommend it if you sleep with a partner whom you get very close to. I imagine the noises emanating from the mattress during love making would be very distracting.

All joking aside, I have only been sleeping on it for a couple of weeks. Not enough time to give it a honest rating. And maybe the noises will lessen as the mattress gets broken in.

This is NOT firm, as advertised
This mattress is advertised as firm, but it is actually quite soft. I have never had back pain in my life but it started shortly after sleeping on this mattress. I tried flipping it over so that the memory foam was on the bottom to make it more firm, but this didn’t help. Unfortunately I could not return it because of the short return window and I had left it in the box too long before opening it. I am so disappointed. I had to donate it to charity just to get rid of it. If you truly want a firm mattress do NOT waste your money on this.

Great product
I bought this for my daughter to replace her futon mattress as she was waking up broken everyday on that thing. Literally one night sleep on this and all her back and neck pain were gone. I picked this one because I have a lucid memory foam mattress and it is heavenly. Out of town relatives that have slept on my bed have gone home and bought the same mattress they loved it so much. I knew I could trust this to be a great but affordable solution and it is just that. The five inches is a little thin appearance wise on the futon but the comfort is still there.

El grosor si es de 13 CMS. Compre queen size porke en buen fin lo pusieron a precio de matrim. Cheken El tamaño porke tienen uno q es de 150 por 200 CMS, es mas grande q El tamaño Mexicano
La caja llego maltratada pero el colchon enrollado no tuvo problema. Lo deje 24 hrs sin usar ya salido de su bolsa y recuperó muy bien su tamaño indicado.
Hasta ahora llevo una semana sin problemas. Mi base es plana entonces se siente muy firme pero no molesta. Mi pareja es llenita y si le kitó Los Dolores de cuello y/o cintura. Es fresco y no se siente el movimiento de ambos al dormir.
Recomendable por precio solo q al ser extranjero no se si tenga garantia.
Si no hago un update despues kiere decir q todo va muy bien

Update – llevo ya dos meses c él y sus formas siento q no se recuperan del todo bien, por lo q lo giré al primer mes p dejar q se recupere. Aun asi es cómodo y muy suave, me permite dormir de panza o normal sobre espalda.
+ No es cómodo para leer si pesas mas de 80k, te hunde el trasero y t cansa. En general no lo recomiendo para gente pesada, pues se hindira y chocará c tu base
+ No es cómodo p la actividad de pareja!!, porke es delgado y de repente chocan tus rodillas c la base (por su altura de 13 cms)
+ Sin embargo al dormir, efectivamente no transmite el movimiento d tu pareja
+ En realidad es una excelente opc pues es ligero para moverlo al cambiar las sà banas, lo puede hacer la mujer sola aun c el tamaño queen
+Es fresco y no sudas, y no es frio en tiempo de invierno (dic-feb zona centro mx)
+ Ayuda definitivamente a no tener dolores de cuello. Y a mi pareja se le kitaron los dolores de cintura tambn
+ Lo usamos c sabanas de algodón, por tanto en conjunto si brinda descanso y es de las opc mas económicas aki en Amz! Recomendable!!

Perfectly FIRM surface, with just the right amount of cushion. Anyone with back problems will absolutely adore this mattress. You will absolutely need a flat surface for it to lie on, though. Box springs work well with it, so no worries there. But wooden slats are likely to get uncomfortable.
This is very much a Swedish/Asian style mattress, which was EXACTLY what I was looking for. If you don’t like the 8-10 inch memory foam mattresses because of how much you sink down into them, this is the mattress you’re looking for. It reminds me of IKEA’s firm foam mattresses, but with a little more cushion/comfort.
Expanded fully within 48 hours, probably 24 hours, but I gave it an extra day to be sure it was done expanding. Cover seems to be decent quality, but not waterproof – you may want to get a waterproof cover. Can easily be “upgraded” to be softer with a topper, too. Bottom of the cover is non-slip, so it will stay put on a hard floor.
Not as heavy as other memory foam mattresses I’ve owned, and I can move it around by myself fairly easily, though it flops around a bit more than thicker mattresses do. Probably ideal for moves.
No smell… then again… I stuck it in a different room to expand. However, I didn’t notice any weird smell while unpacking it, either. It came with a box cutter to assist in unpacking, which was quite thoughtful.
My & my SO’s first night on this mattress was AMAZING. We both slept SUPER hard. We both woke up in the morning with less back pain.
One week later… we both still love this mattress! It’s held up very well, and continues to bring relief to me at night (nerve issues). SO reports his back pain has completely disappeared. I normally am a light sleeper, and thought by now I would be restless at night again… nope. I still sleep so hard, he says I snore, lol. It’s REALLY hard to get up in the morning simply because I don’t want to leave this bed, lol.

Sabias que… dura más que los colchones tradicionales. Y no tienes que estarle dando vueltas como a los colchones tradicionales. Llega enrollado por lo cual es muy fácil cargarlo hasta el cuarto, también vienen dentro de la caja un cuadrito que trae una pequeña navaja para que rompas el plástico, cuando lo saques se va a ver delgado esto es por que viene comprimido pero en 12 hrs expande en su totalidad. No necesitas ningún box/base especial para este colchón, podrÃas ponerlo en el suelo y dormirÃas cómodo,
Te llevas un buen colchón a un muy buen precio.

I ordered six of the Lucid five inch mattresses two years ago and loved them right away. It has been 2 years now and since I am always looking for reviews on product longevity I thought someone might find this review useful.
Some background info as far as usage is concerned: these mattresses are in our boys rooms. We have six boys ranging in age from 2 to 16 and weight from 38 to 200 pounds. The mattresses are placed on built in beds with platforms for support (as recommended).
What we LOVE about these mattresses:
1. These beds are comfortable. I don’t just mean acceptable for kids comfortable. I am talking about if you lay down to help your toddler take a nap you will likely be taking one, too. We seriously were not expecting this level of comfort for such a reasonable price.
2. They come with a removable washable zipper case. Clutch if you have messy boys and like clean beds. It’s not water proof though, so if you need protection be sure to get an appropriate mattress pad.
3. The smell some reviews are talking about I don’t even remember. I’m not saying they didn’t smell at first, I’m just saying it can’t have been that bad or I’d remember.
4. All six mattresses went from pancakes to fully inflated in a few hours. It was magical.
5. My boys sleep like a dream every night, and when we leave the house for road trips or vacations they look forward to coming home so they can sleep in their own beds.
6. Quality. No joke, not one of these mattresses sags in two years. No flipping required to keep them comfy. Neither the memory foam on top nor the base foam layer underneath have shown any signs of wear. If I didn’t know they had been slept on for the better part of 730 nights, I wouldn’t believe it.
Things we don’t love about these mattresses:
1. In two years I can honestly say we have experienced zero cons. None. Nada. Zip.
I 100% recommend these matresses. If you’re on the fence, give one a shot. On a final note, my husband and I just built a house including built in beds for our 5 girls, and we are DEFINITELY purchasing these mattresses for all of them. We are also bringing the six still pristine condition 2 year old mattresses along for our boys. Just saying.
