Excellent, amazing, best purchase
Set this up by myself and it took about 4 hours (I was taking my sweet time). The instructions are super clear and it came with all the tools I needed. The final product is so amazing. It’s durable with zero squeaking and the mattress stays on firmly. Literally zero complaints! My sister even bought one for herself after seeing how gorgeous it looks in my room with curtains on LOL

Put this together in about an hour with the help of my 5 year old 🙂
Sturdy. Only one screw hole was drilled misaligned and it was on one of the leg supports.

Lightweight and easy set up
Love this bed. I set this all up by myself lol, the instructions were confusing at first but once you just gather the pieces in groups and go from there itâs easy. There is no noise yet again thereâs no magic happening. I also love that it has non slip stick bars for the mattress so doesnât move. Bonus thereâs quite a bit of space underneath.

The bed is amazing, very sturdy and exactly like description. Very easy to put together even by yourself. My only issue was the box was damaged but probably from the delivery company. But luckily no damage to the bed other then a little scrape that donât really even see luckily. I give the bed and company 5 out of 5 star. But the delivery company 3 out of 5 as I could see the bed frame in the box that how big the tear/hole was in the box and a couple other tears also.

I like this canopy bed
I normally do not write reviews on Amazon, but I do have to say, I am satisfied with my purchase of the queen size canopy bed. It was easy to put together, I did it myself in a few hours following the easy numbering system.
Since sleeping on it for over a week now, I noticed my mattress is firmer and am getting a better nights sleep!

I just had to move again for the third time since I purchased this bed frame and I just have to say it has been four years and this is one of my favorite things Iâve ever purchased. I briefly bought a different bed frame, used it for six months, then went and got the pieces of this one back out of storage and have gone back to it because alternatives donât compare. It is sturdy, hasnât bent deformed chipped or been damaged in four years, is just as beautiful as the day I bought it, quiet, and best of all it comes apart and goes back together over and over so easily, I lost the instructions god knows how long ago but itâs so well designed I could do it in my sleep anyway. Itâs easier to get from one place to another than any of my other furniture. Apartment life means I have to be careful as I add pieces to my collection that I can get them out after I bring them in, and thatâs the biggest thing Iâm grateful for about this, but besides its being easy to put together it is also timeless in design and elegant and simple enough that you can change it up with the netting, lights, and bedding if you want a fresh look. It is high enough off the ground for plenty of storage without need for risers or being too tall. I keep storage bins luggage shoes etc all under it, unsightly items totally out of sight. I had some concern at first for maybe the first year that it was a sort of juvenile college purchase, because a canopy bed is something that appeals so much to my inner child, but I no longer think so; I think itâs all in how you style and accessorize and what kind of bedding you use. So incredibly happy to have this even years later. I wish I had photos on hand that did it justice. Honestly you spend 1/3 of your life asleep.. why would you not want to spend that time somewhere beautiful?

To start the instructions were really easy as 123. The mini diagrams for each step indicating which portion of the bed you’d be constructing in that step were so useful and a great addition to the visuals that most instructional manuals lack, so I appreciated the thought and simple details that went into what Zinus provides their customers. Next I was so impressed and very thankful for the tools provided such as the rubber mallet and the rachet allen key. In addition to a traditional allen key for dual hardware when setting it up with 2 people. I always wanted a rachet allen key but never got around to purchasing one. But it is truly heaven sent to have in my collection of single lady tools now. As a thoughtful touch Zinus included an appreciation gift of stationary thank you cards for my use. And that little touch in addition to all the other items and details I mentioned above that zinus provided made me know that zinus is the type of company that is invested in its customers and their experience with their products…from the unboxing to the finished product zinus had me in mind and supported me the whole way.
The construction is sound and very well manufactured. The additional sound proof strips eliminate any creaking that metal frames typically suffer from. The “stay-put” tape on alternating slates secure the mattress and keeps it in place.
The PRICE is a paradox to this quality and attention to detail. I would have never expected this level of craftsmanship, thoughtfulness, and overall quality to be available at such a affordable price tag. You can’t be disappointed in such a 5 star product with such a affordable price tag. It was definitely a surprise that I appreciate completely. Zinus deserves thus review because they earned it!!

After two nights this bed impresses me! For those who don’t feel like reading my rave review, it’s sturdy, sleek & beautiful, and I recommend this bed frame to everyone. I have been in the market for a new bed frame for ages but I wanted to get something that would last, would offer me styling options, as well as functionality for a crazy little idea I had.
Assembly was incredibly easy, I didn’t glance at the instructions until after but if I had needed them, they were wonderfully detailed. Just go in order! Literally 1, 2, 3,… Each piece is labeled, and its connection is labeled. (Example: Part #13 is labeled 13 and the area on the pieces it’s meant to connect to is also labeled 13).
THE HEX RATCHET IS HONESTLY THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER USED, it made putting this bed together so quick!
The hardware is not bad but a few of hex bolt heads could have stripped but I did tighten them extra tight, they do have lock washers on them which I love.
I didn’t have to use the rubber mallet but it was nice to have just-in-case.
I have a sleep number mattress and foundation [essentially a box spring], and if I’m honest I think a box spring will help evenly distribute weight, prevent sagging in areas which would cause localized stress on certain slats, and overall ensure the longevity of the “slats”.
In using a box spring in addition to the 14-inch high platform + a mattress you will definitely be higher up but it’s a comfortable height for me.
My muscle memory hasn’t adjusted to avoid the center leg (LOL) so I have whacked my foot a few times and it will do damage to your foot if you’re not careful! So be mindful and stick some noodles on em until your body adjusts to the change, learn from my mistake and two fractured toes. So far, this bed is 10/10 worth the two fractured toes for me :P.
I was slightly confused by the four slats that had nonslip tape on them, one because there were only four of them, and two because I wasn’t entirely sure if they’re meant to place in specific slots for maximum functionality. In the end, it didn’t apply to me as I left the paper on since they would serve me no purpose with the style of my bed foundation.
If you shake enough the frame will move, possibly make noise but I don’t plan on jumping or engaging in vigorous activities…on this bed.
Best of all, my crazy little idea worked perfectly with this bed frame. Theatre bed on a budget 😛 LOL!
I’ll update this in the future if I think of anything else or if the quality deteriorates but I have high hopes.

My husband and I LOVE our new bed! It seems very sturdy. Heâs 240lbs and Iâm 150lbs and even when it starts a rockinâ it holds up well. You can use it with or without a box spring which I like. We use our box spring and it looks great and it doesnât slide around. My husband just gets a kick out of seeing me leap up onto the tall bed like a little kid. Iâm 5â4â so it might be hard to get up onto it with the box spring if youâre smaller or have mobility issues. I used 3 sheer curtains along with two strands of the tiny wire curtain lights that have 8 settings and our bed looks fabulous. The instructions were pretty simple to follow once you figure out their rhyme & reason but it did take us a second to decipher. We put it together in less than 30 minutes and we had so much fun doing it! It took me WAY longer to figure out how to DECORATE the canopy than it did to put the bed together. Itâs very good quality for the price. Iâm even loving the little rubber mallet they give you to tap the pieces into place. I used the mallet to pound in some anchors into the walls and it worked like a charm. Anchors always break in our walls when we use a regular hammer but not with the rubber mallet! Itâs an added bonus that Iâll probably use for other things. The box is super heavy so you need two people to carry it but I was happy about that because it meant that the bed would most likely be sturdy. Iâm so pleased with the outcome. I was able to purchase our new bed and decorate our canopy with the fabrics and the lighting for about $200 total. My husband loves it too despite him being such a manly man. I think his exact words were âooh our own private honeymoon suite!â Which was cute since weâve been married for 26 years. Both of us think it is a great product for the price and it was really fast shipping! Weâll have lots of fun for years to come in our new bed!!!!
