have a regular-sized laptop I use for work and leisure. It can handle it easily. It’s size is perfect for a small bachelor apartment and has enough space for books, a mouse pad, a water bottle on on the desk portion. The cup holder is pretty big so that’s nice. I don’t adjust it often no, but I bought it to stand more often than sit so I am happy with it!

I was looking for a smallish portable desk to use for doing some crafting. Now you’re not going to fit a pottery wheel on it, but for making small charms, miniature houses, it’s great.I would get this again.

Wondering if this desk is worth it, hope this helps: (let me know if it was helpful)!Cons: I always start with cons because that’s usually what you really need & want to know about a product.- Material: The material of the desk isn’t the best. Firstly, your finger prints will constantly be seen on the desk. You really need to use a cleaning product to remove the marks. The paint also had a couple chips in it when I received it. I’m guessing it’s not made to last very long.- Quality: Honestly, the desk is extremely flimsy and it has a very cheap feel to it. I constantly felt like it would collapse (and all I had on it was a computer, keyboard, and mouse).- Design: There are technically three parts to the desk that can be moved around: the top shelf, the bottom shelf, and a small shelf where the mouse should be placed. I REALLY disliked the “mouse” part that you can move around. There’s no way to lock it into place. Thus, whenever you put the smallest amount of weight, it moves, causing anything on it to fall. (YEP, it happened to me. I had a small plate there. I was tired and decided to rest my elbow. GUESS WHAT? the plate fell and shattered into a thousand pieces. I was NOT happy). There should definitely be a way to lock it into place, like the two shelves.- Mechanism: The desk does go up and down. As such, you can work sitting down or standing up. However, it’s a manual mechanism, which means you need to unscrew the screws on each side of the desk in order to lift it or bring it down. For me, I always had to remove everything from each shelf before lifting them or bringing them down. Otherwise, there was the risk that everything on the shelves would fall because you cant control how quickly it rises or falls on each individual side (does that make any sense??!)- Aesthetics: Like I said, it has a very cheap feel and look to it. There isn’t any “design” to it. Also, all your cables and cords are visible because there’s no “back” to the desk. I had mine against the wall so it wasn’t that bad; but for someone who would want it in the middle of the room, it wouldn’t look very nice. It’s a very plain desk. Again, personal pref.- Size: This is more of a personal con. The desk was way too small for me. I thought that the double shelf would give me more space, but the shelves themselves are actually very small. I think it looks bigger on the pictures. You cannot put much on each shelf. On the first shelf, I had a computer screen and my laptop. On the second shelf, I had a keyboard and mouse. That’s basically the only things you can put there. I even struggled finding a spot for my phone (I would put it on the base of my computer screen).ENOUGH cons, now the pros…Pros:- Assemble: Not too difficult. I literally assembled it myself (5’2 women) in about 45 minutes. The instructions aren’t super clear but with logic and common sense, you’re usually able to figure it out (although I scratched my head a couple times).- Tools: Everything you need to assemble the desk is in the box. No screws were missing for me; there was actually extra ones in case. YEAH!!- Functionality: It’s pretty cool that the desk can go up and down. Although the mechanism isn’t the best (con), its nice to know that you have the option. I initially bought it for that reason (to work standing up when I’m tired of sitting).- Size: this is a pro and a con. The reason I also put it as a pro is because this desk is perfect for people who dont have much space. It really doesn’t take up much room and you can easily fit a computer screen, a laptop (top shelf), a keyboard, a mouse, and a cup of tea (on the bottom). If you’re tight on space, this may actually be perfect for you.- Price: I feel like the price is pretty decent. For 100$ you get a functional desk with cool features. After searching and searching for the perfect (budget friendly) desk during this crazy pandemic (and all prices have sky-rocketed), this was the best bang for your buck. For reference, IKEA sells a similar desk for about 250$. It truly depends what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for something plain, low cost, BUT quality and design are not a must for you, then this may be perfect !In sum, as I always say, you get what you pay for. I had purchased this desk with a small discount (total = 109$ CAD) and it was decent for the price. It wasn’t suitable for me because I wanted something of better quality and much (much) bigger. However if space and budget are an issue, this may actually work great for you.FYI, I returned the item before the return window closed.Let me know if you found my review helpful!! Disappointing Quality and Durability
I purchased this Sit and Stand Desk in November, hoping for a reliable work solution. However, within just a few months, a critical piece snapped, rendering it unusable. From the start, the desk’s stability was questionable, with noticeable wobbling during basic tasks. This recent failure highlights its poor quality and lack of durability. Overall, I cannot recommend this desk due to its flawed design and short lifespan.
